What must I do to improve my forums and to attract more members?

During the first few weeks, they gained a load of members, but now things are going slower.

Whilst logged in, please have a look and evaluate my forums. Please give me feedback here, so I can work out what to change.

Please note ANY changes you think are necessary in any field of the board.

I need alot of help, and all non-spam comments will be appreciated.

With no 4) The flashing logo is being changed once I design a new one.

(1) For *my* taste (and this would perhaps be unusual among boards) add more color...
(2) The overriding purpose of your board is not obvious to me; of course I am not a sophisticated sort and may not surf that realm...
(3) Would it be (I'm asking, not telling) appropriate to have links to other sites, and in turn have them link to you, in obvious places, to "steer" visitors toward your site?
(4) The flashing of the logo gets a bit annoying after awhile; and perhaps make the logo smaller after logon. See how Yahoo! has theirs up at left as about a quarter of the banner with other information at the right? Maybe you could try that, with purpose-of-website information at the right!
