and had to have emergency surgery and had my right tube removed on 1/15/2007. I went back to my doctor and had my check up and all was fine , but for the last 2 days I have been very nauseated ? I lost 1 liter of blood but am taking ferrous sulfate to help build blood back up . I haven't been feeling nauseated until a few days ago what can be the cause? Any helpful advice will be appreciated thanks.

I eat before I take them and I have a stool softner I take along with my iron pills, and drink tons of water.

I would take the iron pills right before bed with a light snack and/or a glass of OJ.

The Iron is making you nauseated. I'm anemic and have to take ferrous sulfate. Try taking a vitamin C with each Iron pill and drink 7-up or sprite.

Hope this helps!

did you eat before taking the iron pills? If not that is why your nauseated coupled by a loss of so much blood.

The iron supplements can be making you nauseas and it can also make you constipated, which can also cause nausea. Take the iron with food and if you are having trouble with bowel movements, make sure you are getting plenty of water and fiber (fruit, veggies, bran) or you can buy an over the counter stool softner. Good luck and take care!
