I`ve been reading many reports about Vista. People who are far more expert than me, such as McAfee. saying it`s un-secure. Bank accounts will be prone to attack, more that they are already if banks use it..It wil enable Microsoft to see what you have on your hard disk. ( They do that everytime you update anyway ). I`m hearing that hardware will not work unless it is Microsoft Approved. More bad reports than for any other Windows version. Will you upgrade.. I sure as hell wont.. It`s Linux for me...

I agree VISTA is a mess. Yes go with Linux. My favourite is UBUNTU. My wife will use nothing else now, she likes the fact that once it's installed - you only need to go to the package manager to install an application.

You can download it or order a CD at http://www.ubuntu.com

It's too bad that so many people don't know how far linux has come since it's inception. Anyone who is familiar with windows can use linux.

Linux is for people who have too much time on their hands. It has no use outside of using it for a server. Have fun not running any applications on it, since nearly nothing is compatible. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a Microsoft fan either, but it's like comparing a full toolbox against an empty one. As for vista, I'd strongly recommend that the people thinking about upgrading hold off for at least a year until the bugs and security flaws are exploited by hackers and whatnot and Microsoft fixes them. Besides, XP is a very good operating system.

I have been privy to Vista for the past couple of years. It is my suggestion that you do not upgrade to Vista until atleast June of this year. There are several bugs in the program that need to be addressed. Look past the new look of Vista. Security is the big problem with Vista.
