1.Check The Configuration First.
2.IF U USE THE INTERNET.
And Go to the Major disk is used for your OS
Such as D:\Documents and Settings\ProfileName
In this folder u see More No.of Files
u Select the Cookies folder and deleteall content r in the folder with out the(*.dat format file).
and goto the tools->Folder options-> Onthe upper TAB bar u see VIEW(click it)-> see Advanced settings within that U see the Hidden Files And Folders -> And U Select The Show Hidden Files.
And Now Also U may goto the
D:\Documents and Settings\ProfileName
now u see more files u click the My Recent Document and Select all to delete.
And Go Back Now Click the Local Settings Go to history and Temporary Internet Files and Temp
And Delete all Content it's Not Affect U r OS.
4.Goto System Properties->select Advance->select optin button of "Adjust to Best performance"
After that also your system is slow open the system with system administrator and remove the RAM and clean it after that put it.

You should run anti-spyware programs (Spybot and AdawareSe) to get rid of the extra clutter and malware you have picked up. that will make a big difference. A program like System Mechanic will clean out your registry - again boosting your speed. Finally you can replace the Celeron with a regular P4. It will be faster.

go to Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, Disk Defragmenter. Choose your disk and click Defragment

Well RAM may be a problem....it might not have enough RAM which means you cant do lots of things at once which sometimes causes computers/laptops to crash, so buying more RAM may make it run faster.
