My first instinct is to pronounce it like "Macarena" (the song, dontcha know), but then I start thinking, and there are at least 3 or 4 other ways to pronounce it. The child will be correcting people's pronunciations for the rest of its life.

It looks difficult to pronounce & a name that can be made fun of.

Have pity on your daughter. It's hard to pronounce. When she says her name people will go "Huh?" They won't spell it right. They will mispronounce it. Since it is "unique" she might get harassed.
You may love the name but she will probably hate it because it's difficult to live with.

I'd pronounce it Ma-Car-Ree-A. I think it's pretty. Normally these types of posts are a train wreak, with the worst names imaginable, but I quite like your choice. Good luck.

I pronounce it like ah-roar-ah. i in my opinion does no longer call my newborn Aurora, although that is only because I loved the action picture napping elegance and that i does no longer pick to keep in recommendations a Disney action picture each and every time I regarded at my daughter. Lilly

It sounds really pretty, everyone messes up my name when they read it but once i correct them they are like OH thats so pretty. Growing up I was the only girl in school with my name, the only one at work now, I love having a name that no one else has even if teachers and co-workers mis pronounce it every now and then.

An alright name, nice cos its unusual, though reminds me of macademia nuts, malaria, and the macarena, and sounds made up
