I am A Scot now living in england. Before I moved i lived west of glasgow, and glaswegians like all Scots are well know for their friendlyness, practicall jokes etc but like anywhere it does have its no go area, for God sake if you are a tourist and see a load of thugs never approach them to take a photo of them and say come on guys give me a Glasgow smile, because if u do u will get your picture taken, only thing is it will only be a negative as thats what they do at the Glasgow Royal Infirmary

Glaswegians are 'real people' - they tell it as it is!
Good honest hard working people who have helped and fought for the whole of the British Empire.
Who also happen to have put up with a lot of ignorance from any ousider who ever cared to venture into the city - which incidently - has amazing architecture and history!

Only know two Glaswegians,and I can't understand them sober so when they have a drink I'm sure they speak Russian

I've had some of the best fish and chips ever in Glasgow. Splendid bunch of citizens.

I like them. No airs and graces but warm and friendly. I have had wonderful evenings in Glasgow.
