If there's not too much of it, do you really need to do anything? Some guys are OK about women who are a bit hairy even with women who have a slight moustache.

If you do decide you have to do something, then there isn't a simple answer.

Facial (and also body) hair on women comes about in the same way as on men because of

1) your body being sensitized, before you were even born, to testosterone -- doesn't happen to all girls, but does to many

2) your body producing high levels of testosterone

The growth rate and coarseness of the hair depends on just how much testosterone is circulating in your bloodstream.

Steer clear of bleaching -- when someone sees you against the light you'll look as if you have a glowing moustache and/or beard.

As far as removing it is concerned it's worth remembering that

* Waxing, plucking, threading, epilating all pull the hair out by the roots and where the growth is hormonally-driven can actually stimulate a dormant follicle into producing more hair quicker. They also distort the root if done repeatedly, leading to hair growing at strange angles. And you've got to let the hair grow to quite a length before you can repeat the exercise. It can also damage the skin and discolor it. Long-term use of waxing also causes bad wrinkles.

* Chemical depilatories strong enough to remove the hair are very likely to burn the skin, cause swelling and cause long-term discoloration of the skin.

* Laser is also liable to cause burning and discoloration and in any case only works effectively on a dark hair/light skin combinantion.

* Electrolysis is very liable to cause scarring and discoloration of the skin.

Which, like it or not, leaves shaving which does not damage the skin. Best done with a men's-style electric razor, the best of which, for women, are probably those from the men's range of Norelco razors (Philishave outside the US). Most women who try a men's Norelco wonder why nobody ever told them about it before. There's one problem, though, and that is that they are simply useless if the hair is longer than about 1/16" -- you've got to use something else to get it down to that length first.

Lots of women are hairy you'd just never realize it because almost all of them remove it somehow.

Shaving will leave stubble without regular upkeep, and you already ruled out waxing for some reason, so that leaves nair.

i'm hairy. But i don't mind it. I believe that you should try laser treatment. no painful waxing, and plus the hair WON'T come back! it destroys the root within the skin so that it wont grow anymore. sounds fool proof to me! i wouldnt want to get wax either! and you definately dont wanna cut yourself shaving. actuall i HAVE done that on my face before. not cool hope all goes well!

Try a depilatory cream like Nair or Veet. It kinda melts the hair , I don't know,it's hard to explain. Make sure to find the one for sensitive skin, just in case.

sorri im not hairy but, i know a few who r. consider laser treatment but that sounds painful and expensive if your hairy all over so consider bleaching those stubborn hairs. Sally Hansen has a GREAT hair bleaching kit. no one will be able to tell your hairy, i mean the hairs still their but the color blends in with your skin so no one knows it but you.

GOOD LUCK!

i have had 4 laser treatments on my stomach. still some bit of hair left there, but not enough to worry me. I have shaved it with razor, but seriously do not recommend shaving stomach as it will itch and drive you crazy. nair works, but just looks odd with all hair including peach fuzz gone.

I normally just shave underarms and legs. rest of it doesn't bother me. so i have hair on my arms. what's the big deal? I think it is so weird to see women without hair on their arms.

Sweetie I'm sure that it isn't as bad as you think it is, we seem to over react when it comes to our on personal apprences so shave where you need to, underarms, legs, bikini line, and i'm sure you will be okay and plus if you say the right things and do the right things i'm sure he won't even worry about the little bit of hair you have on your back. Trust me!!!!!
