Consulted the Oracle on this one [Wife] The origin of the word “Moustache” is French and designated a place where Frenchmen left part of their lunch to consume at a later time with the use of the tongue, so the less said about that the better. The word eyebrow is also incorrect as the eye is below this location and brow is above it. Strictly speaking a moustache should be termed as Belonosetoplipbeard and an eyebrow an aboveyebeard.

The word Moustache comes to the English language via the Middle French Moustache which in turn is derived from the Old Italian Mustaccio which originates from the Middle Greek Moustaki, a diminutive of Greek mystak-, mystax upper lip, mustache.[

Mouthbrow... haha like a Monobrow (unibrow).
Some common vernacular terms for the moustache are:
stache
tache
tash
pushbroom
mo
"Go and comb your pushbroom" , just sounds so rude!! ha ha ha
Caterpillar! That's what I used to call my tutor's tache in my old college days. It reminded me of those black furry caterpillars.
Why is the Papilionoidea called a "butterfly"? These critter are certainly not made of butter but they do fly.
Mouthbrow sounds good.... maybe someone will add that one in the dictionary in future??

Maybe you can start it and others will follow. English Language accepts coining, its usage also changes with time.
TRY, change it? it may be interesting!
