A question for people who play pokemon games? Plz help if possible.?

What does the nature of the Pokemon have to do with anything? Like what does it affect?

it affects their stats and what pokeblocks they like or dislike

All natures raise and lower a stat by 10% with the exception of a few natures such as Bashful which means it gets no increases or dicreases

For Example: the Modest nature increases Sp. Atk by 10% while lowering Atk by 10%. A Modest nature would benefit a pokemon such an an Alakazam since it's specialty is Special Attacks

Here is a scenerio: You have an Alakazam (lv 50) of a Bashful nature with a Sp. Atk of 140 and an Atk of 80.
A second Alakazam (lv 50) has a Modest nature. If both Alakazam have the same IV's and EV's (which is almost impossible) , the Alakazam with the Modest nature would have an increased Sp. Atk of 154 (140 + 10%) but a reduced Atk of 72 (80 - 10%)

The nature of a pokemon affects which stats will increase and by how much; in Ruby and Sapphire, it also affects which of their attributes for Pokemon Competions (in the tent) will rise the highest.

nature affects how the pokemon grows. i don't exactly know any real examples, my ex took the pokemon book when he left me, but let's just say you have a...pikachu (my favorite pokemon) with a bold nature. look in the book, it says (and i can almost guarantee it DOESN'T say this i am making it up) +2 spcl atk, -2 defense. so every time your pikachu levels up, you will get an extra 2 points to special attack but it will take twice as long as usual to get the defense up. this is how my pikachu (my main one, i have a whole team of them) is. her defense is incredibly low.

ok. so for certain things, like hitmonchan, i wanted to have all special attacks like ice punch, fire punch, etc. i had to find one that had this special nature, i don't remember what it was, so special attack would rise the highest. it took forever, i had to restart the game over and over to get the certain hitmonchan i wanted.
