In your local library they should have books on crocheting which would have the pattern. You can just copy it down or photo copy or borrow book long enough to finish the project.

A lot of the yarn manufacturers have their own website with free patters. (Red Heart, Bernat, etc.) You might check their sites and see if they have anything. Otherwise maybe craft store websites, such as Michaels.com, hobbylobby.com, joanncrafts.com, and hancockfabrics.com. Hope this proves helpful. =)
