1. In reality Israel does not have the right exist. They definitely stole the land with huge backing of the west that came because of western guilt and the atrocities that the Jews incurred. But if the west really wanted to be fair at the time they should gave part of Germany to the Jews.

2. The area of Israel and Palestine is mostly controlled by a minority group that in it self is a problem.

3. The amount of bloodshed inflicted by Jews to the Palestiniens is 10 fold

4. Fundamental Religious Differences driven by the inequality and severe poverty that the Palestinians incur they are in every sense of the word a second class citizen.

5. They sit in a hornets nest, they are Jewish country surrounded by Muslims and survival is somewhat dependent on being the stronger then the neighbor and and with strength some leaders have elected to use brute force. But this tactic works only in the short term but in the long term it is rallying cry to the other side.

If Israel continues to think bulling is the key survival it only a matter of time before there is a grave price. As technology advances the other side gains and keeping the masses down has proven almost impossible.

There is no huge faction of people that hate Jews in the US but there is a decent faction that thinks Isreal is wrong.

Because the colonial powers of Europe carved out a piece of the Middle East to make a new home for Jews after World War 2. (It wasn't a direct response to the Nazi genocide, but that probably was a motivating factor. People had been urging for a new Jewish homeland for a long time.) Unfortunately, there were people already living there on the land they moved into (Palestinians). Middle Eastern nations are angry because they feel like they've been invaded. They feel like the entire establishment of Israel was unjustified. So a lot of Arabs in the area want to destroy it.

Both Israelis and Palestinians think that the land should be theirs, so they fight over it.

Israel beat them out of their land in a war, one that no one expected them to win, and no one really cared because it was nothing more than sand and some holy tourist traps. Now the Palestinians and their surrounding neighbors see high rises and flourishing farms and businesses and they want it back, oh yes, with the improvements already done by the Israelis. What they don't realize is that it take work that they won't do to maintain it. All you have to do is see how they live in the Gaza Strip to see how the Arab methods have failed. And their 'brothers in Allah' don't lift a finger to help them, in fact America gave them loads of aid until the last election when the terrorist faction took over. Part of it too is a play into the traditional anti-Jewish sentiment that is rampant in Europe and the US, they wish to join themselves to that thinking so Israel can be even more cut off than it is.

Actually of Israel's neighbours...

Syria has again offered to restart bilateral talks with Israel, only to be rebuffed (although this smack down was probably due to US influence in Israel).

Egypt signed a peace treaty with Israel in March 26 1979, recognising its existance and establishing a peace between them.

Jordan signed a comprehensive peace treaty with Israel on October 26 1994, recognising both the country and establishing full normalization of diplomatic relations

Prince Abdullah of Saudi Aradia in 2002 at the Beiruit Summit put forward a comprehensive peace plan backed by many Arab countries, including Saudi Arabia (something which has never happened before), which offers full recognition of Israel by Arab countries, full diplomatic relations with it and comprehensive bilateral peace agreements between each Arab country and Israel in return for Israel withdrawing to its 1967 borders, a just solution to the Palestinian refugee problem (though not necessarity a right to return), and the establishment of a sovereign and independent Palestinian state in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

The Geneva Initiative (aka the Geneva Accord) are an unofficial peace proposal drawn up by both prominent Israeli and Palestinian ministers, officials, negotiators and generals incliding Yossi Beilin, one of the architects of the Oslo accords, and former Palestinian Authority minister Yasser Abed Rabbo. It includes provision for two independent states – Israel and Palestine, side by side, recognizing each others sovereignty and territorial integrity and establishing full diplomatic relations, based on the 1967 borders modified so that Israeli settlements in the current Occupied Territories remain in Israel, and the Palestinian state would get an equivalent amount of land. Most importantly, the status of Palestinian refugees, and the status of Jerusalem is dealt with straight away rather than being kicked into the long grass.

The myth that all of Israel's neighbours want them dead is propagated by militants and nationalists in Israel, and their supporters in the US, who don't want peace at any price.

I think they are jealous because we give 4 or 5 billion dollars worth of aid annually to Israel and we just start wars in Arab countries[ if I was a rag-head, that would gripe my *ss too].

It seems to me that with all the money Jew's extort from Europe and the money China pays them for our military secrets, they wouldn't need hand-outs from the USA.
OY VEY!
