I want you all to know. In the standarized tests that all kids have to take. Religious schools place higher onchildrens average than the public school kids. They also cost less per kid. The teachers usually get paid less in religious schools. The teach things like morals and responibility. Thuings you can use in your real life.

Thank you, yes.
The unions are not entrenched to protect incompetent teachers, religion is not a dirty word, and on average these students do much better than the "graduates" of our government-run schools.
The schools often have a lower per-pupil budget than government schools, but they are run more efficiently.
Vouchers? Never! the government involvement would ruin these schools too.

The US system of government was designed after the way the Presbyterian Church is set up (many of our forefathers were Presbyterian)...so our ENITRE government was set up like that of a specific denomination....did you know that???
I think saying the National Anthem the way it was ORIGINALLY designed and adopted by our country, should never change...times "they are a change'n" sure...but some things should always remain a constant....
I think children should AT LEAST be given a moment of silence to pray, meditate or whatever....yes, even in public schools...or at least for them to be able to reflect on the fact that we live in country that "embraces" differences...and does not try to extinguish them...

I took my son to school today. - public school And you know what? They said "Under God" in the Pledge of Allegiance.
As it was when I went to public school, as it should be.
Have a blessed day!

Jesus told his disciples to not pray in public like the "hypocrites."
Isn't if funny that in order to teach your children to obey Christ, you have to send them to public schools instead of religious schools?

Thank you so much!!! Maybe some of the fundies here will realize that they have options other than sending their kids to public schools, where they might actually come into contact with people who don't think like they do.

And so if you have the money to pay the tuition then your kid can pray. If you are poor, then you are not allowed to be religious?
Just playing devil's advocate.
