What would you expect from a radio show at 9am till 12pm?

What features would you expected or you think should be put in a radio show in the morning from 9am till 12pm? Music and news I’m thinking but what about listens interacting? What your views and you features?

Depends what station you are broadcasting on and what their target audience is.

If it's target audience is workers and young people then just music and give a bit of chat between songs, the odd quic.

If the station is a more talk based one then interviews, possibly want new topics each day, call-ins, e-mails etc...

I have a radio show but it's just mainly music and me talking some. As a listener I would want something interesting, like dumb criminals or maybe a local or national issue/politics. Or even sports or anything else...

Try Planet Rock between 10 and 1pm on Saturdays (a prime example) - that is what I would expect. Good music, jokes, rants, interesting stories, competitions and all round good broadcasting.

i think its important tht listeners are given chance to view there own opinions on radio on the enviroment tht surround them.. i also think that in a morning traffic news is important.... heading into dinner time area i thikn lively music should be palyed to help keep them motivvated during working hours. few jokes here and there... from my persona lexperience most listeners wh oare young prefer livelier and up beat music... its important to suit all needs tht the public want....
