I have a very special occasion coming up and im wearing a dark purple dress. I was thinking like a smoky eye with a hint of pueple. Any suggestions?

If you want a smokey eye I would do the hint of purple as a eyeliner type line along the top lashes. You can either achieve this by wettin a brush and applying eye shadow (you get a more defined line this way) or by buying an actual purple eye liner although these can be hard to find in right shade.
Another idea for a slightly lighter look would be to use silver eye shadow this could look good if you wore your dress with silver shoes or a silver bag.
Im sure you will look fab!

Smokey eyes look fab with a dark purple dress. It makes you look chick but gothy. If you dont want to use smoky eyes, do purple or pink.
I suggest to focus on your best part.
Look in the mirror without make-up and find your favourite part on your face. Then go to boots or a beauty shop and find things for that certain part of your face.
I also think a mini handbag and accessories (dont forget high heels!) will look pretty with it too.
Its a good idea because it catches peoples attention.
Also because its dark purple, it would look great with silver accessories.

The smoky eye sounds good, but I would personally ditch the hint of purple. Use lots of mascara and blend well! Also, I would recommend going easy on the rest of your fash (as in neutral blush and maybe a sheer lip gloss). Have fun at your event!

well would be great if u r wearing gold accsisories on the the dress, make a smoky eye with gold and dark purple eye shadows..( dont use dark yellow, the light one will give a great shiness. u acan also do silver+ purpule n black..

It really depends on your skin color.... I would try it out a couple days before the event and have a person maybe a good friend tell you honestly what it looks like. Don't do this the night before just in case you need to go get a different product.

okay dark pruple..... hmm well what I would do is put like a light medium shade of purple on ur eyelids.. then put s shimmery light white above ur eyes.. thats what I do.. and I more then likely get complaments... have fun!
