if i put it on an ethernet cable will it support to internet connections at the same time?

Yes, for 10/100 anyway. Ethernet cables have 4 pairs of wires, but for 10MB or 100MB, only four wires (2 pairs) are used. The splitter is simply making use of the 2 unused pairs.

Yes you can use a splitter to split a Cat5 cable into two connections.

The 4 un-used pairs can be used not only for another ethernet (10mbps!) connection but also for phone and low voltage power supply.

You will need to split both ends of the cable.

I commonly use a splitter to distribute telephone and ethernet over one Cat5 cable. In one instance I have used it to power a device with a 12DC supply.

Assume your talking about twisted pair Ethernet (10BaseT or 100BaseT)?

No, you can not split the signal. You must use a hub/switch of some sort to add additional devices to the network. You must also use high quality Cat5 cables for 100BaseT to work reliably.

The device in the url below is the cheapest way to add 3 devices to an Ethernet network.

also a Switch works pretty good too...
