The global warming policy is based on proven facts, not Al Gore's fantasies on man made global warming.

- he's not paying enough attention to global warming because there's no conclusive evidence to prove that it's really happening...Scientific method, not scientific consenus.
- He spends WAY TOO MUCH money...
- The immigration issue is a biggy...
- We have lost focus on the war on terror...that needs to change.
- He hasn't done anything to improve the national electrical grid, as he promised originally back in 2000.
- He hasn't done anything truly significant with Ag policy.

I don't like his amnesty plan for illegal aliens. Other than that, he is doing fine, though I wish he would push back against the democrat agenda a little harder. And in my opinion, he is paying too much attention to the so-called "global warming" agenda, which is just an attempt by socialists in this country and abroad to steal my tax dollars and re-distribute them to dictators and corrupt UN bureaucracies with the "carbon credits" scheme. If you want to know what causes "global warming", look to that big fireball in the sky. It is in a highly active period right now, which is the common sense explanation for heat. Besides, I'm currently freezing my @ss off.
But his stances on the War on islamist Terror, taxes, judicial nominations, abortion and gay marriage, embryonic stem cells, and most other issues, is in the ballpark.

I didn't agree with him when he said in that interview that he didn't need a back-up plan because his orders come from God.
That was a little more than short-sighted on so many levels.
Edit: That's the reason he originally gave for not needing an exit plan in Iraq, because he said God told him to go to war. He said God wanted him to be President. And he said "I am a war president...that's what I am."
So, why would you possibly thumbs down this answer for quoting him on that? Because you believe countries should go to war without thinking through the possible consequences of not having exit plan strategies? Really?
George W. Bush is a human being and is, like any human being capable of imperfection. Do you believe that's not true? I suppose next you'll be telling me that you are a Christian too. You must be from the sect that believes Christians are never wrong either.

I disagree with the "Leave no Child Behind" it has lowered the standards in our children's schools. And it takes money away from schools that are not doing well and gives it to schools that are doing better. That's just not right. If we do not better educated our children what will the world come to. We need to stand up for our children.

To make it easier....
I AGREE with G.W. that we need to become energy independent.
I AGREE that we need to lower taxes (but I think that should be for everyone).
I AGREE that he's finally decided we DO need a balanced budget. (Heard that this morning).
I AGREE, since we're already there, that we need to give the Iraqi government a chance to rule their own country...(but I give them only another year rather than an open end).
I agree that we need to hunt down the terrorist group who attacked us on 9/11...but it seems like we've forgotten about them.
Short list...well, if I think of anything else, I'll let you know.

IMMIGRATION
Those two border guards, Ramos and Campeon need to be freed. It's a travesty.
Bush wants that Supercorridor, the logical extention of NAFTA, enacted by Clinton.

The war in Iraq. There was no basis for it. The majority of the 9-11 hijackers were from Saudi Arabia.
