If by "our Earth" you mean the planet, that will probably happen in about several million years when the Sun goes nova. Or sooner, if it collides with a large enough asteroid to make it explode.
If by "our Earth" though you mean "the world as we know it", it is already happening! The combination of Sun activity, polution and global warming and religious confrontation will probably make our society go apart before the end of this century.

It could be 28 minutes from now or 280 years from now. When the superpowers square off against each other in two camps, then come back and we'll talk end of the earth.
Until then, just think regional conflicts, wars between rump states, proxy wars and brinksmanship. If you recall the Yom Kippur War in 1973, a coalition of Arab States (Egypt, Syria and Jordan) were soundly defeated by the Israelis. That was a worse situation than the current conflict and it didn't raise a blip on the world war radar (not that it didn't have the potential to spark a global war).
The next World War will involve a nuclear exchange, how could it not. In the first 30 minutes, nearly a billion people will have been vaporised, mostly in the US, Russia, Europe, China and Japan. Another 1.5 billion will die shortly thereafter from radiation poisoning. The northern hemisphere will be plunged into prolonged agony and barbarity.
Eventually the nuclear winter will spread to the southern hemisphere and all plant life will die. You ask when is the apacolypse, you are asking when will we commit global suicide. My answer is it won't happen soon because the larger superpowers are more rational than the rump states in the middle east.
Our biggest risk is an accidental launch of nukes by one of the nuclear powers.

maximum significant international religions have an end of the international tale. that would not make it authentic. Scientists have suggested no such situation approximately there being a difficulty with the solar, using fact there is not. until eventually you mean image voltaic flares using fact the guy above suggested, yet those are effortless and are not going to wreck the earth. And Nostrodamus did not are waiting for that. whether he did, he's had dozens of predictions that for the duration of no way got here authentic, and those that did have been so obscure they could have been utilized to pretty much something. The Mayan Calendar does not say the international ends on December twenty first, 2012. it particularly is the top of an era, end of an age, notwithstanding you choose to call it. On December twenty 2d, 2012, the Mayan Calendar starts over at three hundred and sixty 5 days a million.

The only meaning of our earth is private property. The end of certain parts of the earth have already played out in history with Soviet Russia, Nazi Germany and the end of the earth in America is only a matter of time if philosophy does not recognize what the end of the earth is. As for the planet it cannnot cease to exist.

The Earth itself will probably be destroyed, or at least charred into a lifeless rock, in about five billion years when the sun balloons into a red giant. "While it is likely that the expansion of the outer layers of the Sun will reach the current position of Earth's orbit, recent research suggests that mass lost from the Sun earlier in its red giant phase will cause the Earth's orbit to move further out, preventing it from being engulfed. However, Earth's water will be boiled away and most of its atmosphere will escape into space." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sun#Life_cycle
If not that, then the Earth will eventually be destroyed along with everything else when proton decay sets in, causing all matter to disintegrate in about 10^33 years. Assuming that protons do in fact decay, of which physicists don't fully agree.
If nothing else, all matter will eventually be pulled apart and disintegrate due to the accelerating expansion of the universe. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_Rip

When the Creator of this Earth wants it to. Maybe try rwading the book of Revelation, there is very good information in there that will help you to understand. If you are scared for it to end maybe you need to ask God to help you not be afraid to die or see the earth end. Me personally, I have no fear of seeing the earth end because I have read Revelation and believe it.

Earth will come to an end at a pre-determined time in the future, known only to its creator. This will also be the time when everything else in the universe will also end. Then, after sometime (no-one knows how much), everything will be recreated & mankind will be held accountable for its actions in this life. That is known as the Day Of Judgement. So anyone who thinks his great-great-grandfather was an adventurous fish which crawled out of water for fun, or a proton which accidently combined with an electron to form 'LIFE', is sadly mistaken!! Everything is pre-determined, in exact measure & will be accounted for!!

Im not sure if this is a scientific question or an end times prophecy question related to the bible . if its related to the so called dooms day events in revelations, many people focus on the doom and gloom, but I rather focus on the promises made from God, and in the end of revelations comes a reborn earth, one of no violence, hatred, or sorrow, and where God promises to wipe the tears from peoples eyes. a cleansing of the earth if you will. so as far as the bible is concerned there is no end but rather a new born earth. the end is the end of an era of man, and not the end of the world. as far as the suns gonna burn out and all the guesses of science, well pick your poison, thers many theories out there.

At exactly the right time. Sorry, not enough data is available for an exact or even approximate date. The Creator who set all this up has laid out a plan which indicates that They have a timetable determined. Events appear to be unfolding to bring the specified end to fruition.

Science gives a timeframe and religion another, however for you the Earth will come to an end when you are no more and for me when I am no more...that in itself is a lot to ponder over...why think further when you have so much to think... and you might not even be there if at all it does...
