Although I 'hate' 'Internet lingo' because people use these 'shortcuts' instead of writing out real words and real sentences, in 'good spelling' and good grammar ... the answer is 'Yes, I do use 'Internet lingo' in 'real life' ... but ONLY when I am talking with my husband, who is a 'computer professional' and also an 'extremely smart person' so he can 'understand' that I'm 'poking fun at myself' and not just presuming that 'everyone should know what I am saying.' I play World of Warcraft, and when I'm doing that, I still 'write every word out completely ... luckily, I can type at 120wpm and not 'slow the game' with what I am 'saying' ... although I must admit that I am getting 'bad' at doing all of the 'capitalization' and 'punctuation' properly when I'm in 'WoW mode.'

yep, for instance i have evolved past the point of laughter, now when im confronted with a humorous situation i simply say "lol" and rip out a patch of my hair
