Why do people think Nicole Kidman is pretty?

I don't see it and I never have...she has thin lips, she's too tall, she's too pale, her eyebrows are too bushy, her eyes too small (a big flaw, in my opinion)...so what is considered so attractive about her? There are way prettier women than her in Hollywood and outside of Hollywood.

Okay, here's my opinion. I think she is attractive, however, the idea of beauty is different to everyone. For instance, today's society think skinny has a lot to do with being pretty, however, a century ago, full figured and heavy women were seen as prettier than the skinny ones. I still think full figured women are prettier than a lot of stick skinny ones. But I digress, I think everyone has their own opinions of what beauty is depending on culture, sexual orientation, gender, whatever. It varries from person to person. I hear a lot of people reffering to how hot Angelina Jolie is, and although I do think she is attractive, I find quite a few other actresses much more attractive than her. So while you think Nicole Kidman is not that pretty, yes, there are going to be people that think she is because she fits their description of beauty.

She's incredibly striking which is far more interesting than pretty. Her eyes aren't small, her lips are expressive, her skin is flawless she'd look silly with a fake dark tan. She's an individual not some clone. She has grace and presence and she's a good actor. It all adds up to star quality. That's why people think she's 'pretty'

By the way i'm not a raving kidman fan, I don't care what she does with her make up its the first pic that came up on a search. The point is she's a darn good looking woman and to pick her features apart is a very shallow and pointless. If she was just pretty she'd be a catalog model or something it's whole package that makes he one of the highest paid actors in Hollywood, whether she uses lipliner or not. I agree she's got too thin. That's probably all the pressure of all those judgemental people out there.

Are you prettier than Nicole Kidman? Are you intense? Are you actually judging the finished self nicely worth on even if you're prettier than some different person? Come on. at first, no you likely can tell even if you've been prettier or no longer until eventually you spoke, because once you're a "witch", then it ought to really make you uglier. in case you've been a form, effective, respectable and loving human being on the different hand, you would not favor a competition like this. it truly is extraordinary.

I've wondered, too. When she was in Moulin Rouge, the director loooooved her b/c her skin was soooo white, it was perfect for his production people. In the movie's commentary, he claimed her skin reflected light, just like the moon which is an asset in the film industry. Her skin doesn't bother me. For me, it's those eyebrows. Because they're so low at the inner corners, she always appears to be irritated and annoyed, no matter how happy she is. That and the ultra-thin lips make her look as though she can't be trusted. Silly, I know, but that's how I feel. Oh yeah, plus she's knock-kneed.

Wow. How shallow are we gonna get? For every minute we spend on discussing someone's beauty (which you're born with, or not and is completely perspective), that's one less minute we spend concentrating our time, efforts and man-hours on important subjects like:
global warming,
racism,
poverty,
peace,
greed,
child neglect and abuse, etc...
If all people give a crap about is someone's comeliness, the human race is in trouble.

I like her and I think she's pretty. Her skin is flawless. But I just watched "The Stepford Wives" & wanted to pass out. She was a stick. She looked like a stick figure drawing, SERIOUSLY!!!!! Niki needs some food......IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!!!!
