Yes, there is a good chance that 20 days after her period is a good time to get pregnant.

A woman has a 28 day cycle and is generally expected to "ovulate" (have an egg ready to be fertilised) around day 14 to day 21.

Some women are spot on day 14 or thereabouts and others are only ready to get pregnant on day 21.

As we are now into February she ought to have had her period (which is probably why you are asking) by now (actually exactly a week ago) and there is at least one sign that she might be. Of course periods are never that definite and it may still start.

HOWEVER- no point waiting to find out! A woman IS pregnant the moment the sperm from unprotected sex reaches the egg. This means that if she had unprotected sex on the 22nd she would have been pregnant by the 23rd (depending on when on the 22nd) at least. And this means she is not "getting pregnant" but may already BE pregnant.

:-)

The best way to find out for sure is to get a pregnancy test from a chemist and to use it. The instructions are fairly simple- it will usually involve peeing on a plastic stick so that the little window with the "litmus" paper is wet. Also- it can be used VERY early on and certainly by now. Most folk recommend waiting till the woman is due to get her period before relying on the test but the test is actually fairly accurate upto 10 days earlier (ie within the first week of getting pregnant).

:-)

Yes, as everyone here is saying, you can get pregnant ANY DAY of the month, regardless of when your menstrual cycle is. That's why its important to use birth control every single time (condoms with spermicide and the birth control pills every day).

And the younger you are, the more fertile you are and the more likely you are to get pregnant.

If you are pregnant, your menstrual cycle won't come and you won't bleed. To know for sure, wait until your menstrual cycle is late and then take a home pregnancy test.

The bottom line is.... a gal can get pregnant anytime! Anything is possible and I wouldn't ever say that there is a time when a girl is uncapable of conceiving. The only way to tell is to wait a couple of weeks then go to the doctor.

a girl can get pregnant at anytime, it just depends on when she ovulated. the whole misconception that ovulation occurs 14 days after your period starts is just that a "misconception" not all women are the same so therefore not all women are going to ovulate on the same days. Your best bet if you don't want her to become pregnant is to either use a condom or get her on birth control or better yet use a condom and tell her to get on birth control. Good luck to you

generally woman has maximum fertility period upto 20th days from the first day of mensuration. if she had mensuration started at 2nd jan, discharge will be for 3 to four days say up to 5th or 6th one can have sex during these days also it is safe. then next three days 7th 8th 9th are dry days and mucus inside is dry enough to prevent semens to travel in the vagina these days are called dry days but safety is 50% and 50% chances of pregnancy. 10th 11th ..up to 14th day chances of pregnancy is increased to 50% to 80%, 15th day to 20th day is slippery days and mucus is like water and be sure that she is going to be pregnant during these days mucus is slippery enough that even semens at the mouth of vagina can swim to the wob and fertlity takes place. after 20th days are completely safe period but as a precautionary measure you can abstain 21th day and next 9 to 10 dayas are complete safe for sexual indulgence. because after 20th days eggs are dead which comes out after next days as mensuration.

You have a chance of getting prego everytime you have sex...just be safe about it...CONDOMS! There isn't a day that goes by that you "can't" get prego. How do you know your getting prego? Well if there is a man there you might have a good idea but other then that just take tests!

High. If you were her only sex partner then it's very likely that it's your baby. The only way it wouldn't be yours is if she was pregnant when you had sex with her, or if she also had sex with someone else while she was fertile this month and then it could possibly be the other guy's baby.

U could get pregnant at any time. It is just more probable when you have have just had your period, or it is about to start. Buy a pregnancy kit at any Walgreens or other drugstore, and the instructions are pretty simple, you have to pee on it and it tells u in a minute if it is positive or negative.
Next time use some protection, please.

normally conception happens 13 days after your peroid..But it depends on this persons menstral cycle. Does she have a period every 28 days 30 days. Is her cycle normal. there are a lot of things that factor in. It may be possible.

Yes, she can get pregnant. NO there is no way of knowing the moment it is happening. You obviously are not mature or educated enough to be having sex so STOP IT before you bring another unwanted, welfare baby into this world.
