I appreciate all music that inlvolves some degree of talent. Anything that novlves just vocals isn't impressive at all. Alot of country does there own music which is great. I hate the Pop Country. The song that are just put on the radio to play at peoples emotions or just to get a small laugh. Shania Twain is one example. Some other songs like " Ive Been Watchin You" do the smae things and i feel the artist ( i forget the name) just put the song out there to play off people emotions. True talent would be the songs you hear hat you just know deep in your soul the artsit was really feeling. So yes i like most county music.

Yes I like country music because I was raised up listening to it , but I do not like every musician or music style in country music. I alternate between different music sounds I also listen to classic rock and some of todays rock-pop. I listen to different music depending on the mood I am in.

I love all kinds of music in fact I'm a music junkie. But I have to tell you...recently I found out that I was going to be dying sooner than later and so I wanted to do something special for these 4 friends of mine. We've known each other since grade school had lost touch for awhile but for some reason right before I found out I was terminal they all had found me by way of internet and we were able to reconnect.
I made each of them a cd of music...some of the songs were songs we had ran around to in jr. high and high school but when it came to the songs that I wanted to use to tell them what their friendship had meant to me it was basically country music that had just the right lyrics of what I was trying to say.
I know this is long answer but humor me...I'm sick. One more thing don't let it take an illness to tell those in your life you love them and your glad they are there...God Bless

I love older country and the artists it produced. The guys that wrote the songs and lived them also. Merle, Willie, George, Coe, Shaver, etc. The only good country in my opinion now is Hank III- he is not just country- but he's lived what he sings of. And he's a helluva a nice guy (as long as you don't mess with him)!

My daughter got me hooked and now I have converted my husband. I like Tim McGraw, Alabama, Lonestar, etc... Skip the older stuff.
I like the message about family and love that many songs have.
