That's a good question. Well the one i would like to see win is Montreal, but i'm a fan so it explains it all. Seriously many teams have good chances.

Buffalo: They have a very steady team, 4 good lines, 2 very good goaltenders, some playoff experience from last year, and some good defensemen plus a great coach in Lindy Ruff. I have trouble not seeing them win. A team would have to play great to beat them.

Nashville: Best team in the league right now, great offense with Kariya and Sullivan, Timmonen is one of the best defensemen of the league, though unknown. They have 2 great keepers also with Vokoun and Mason. They'll be tough.

Anaheim: Great team, Selanne playing best hockey in a long time, AWESOME defense. The key for them will be to avoid injuries now and they have serious chances

Pittsburgh: Crosby is one of the best players in the league. They are playing inspired hockey lately and are doing great. Fleury is at the top of his shape lately, but he'll need to keep it up through the stress of the playoffs for them to win.

New Jersey: Always a dangerous team, Brodeur, best keeper in the NHL, solid defence, and they can produce offensively.

San Jose: Great players, Thornton, Marleau, Cheechoo, if they can produce they'll be nearly unstoppable. Also they only lost one game in OT/SO which means they know how to score in critical situations, very important in the playoffs.

Many other teams have chances just by being great like Detroit, Calgary, Dallas, Atlanta...Many balanced teams out there that can win it this year. GO HABS GO

Ducks!

Assuming they are healthy, Pronger and/or Niedermayer will be on the ice for all but maybe 5 minutes of the game.

Giguere and Bryzgalov form a great tandem and have both had playoff success.

The line of Rob Niedermayer, Sammy Pahlsson and Travis Moen is the best checking line in the NHL right now. Pahlsson alone does a fantastic job of shutting down the other team's top offensive player.

They play tough explosive, and quick transitional hockey.

I still think they need to bring in Forsberg or Sundin at the deadline though.

Sabres have a good chance that's for sure, but don't forget about the Anaheim Ducks. If the ducks stay healthy for the rest of the year I wouldn't be suprised if they take the cup. Two strong goalies, two of the best defensemen in the league to go along with their hardworking supporting class and a surging Selanne - McDonald punch is back.

Too many teams are fighting for playoff spots right now, untill the regular season is over it's a toss up between 4-8 teams.

Uhh I can give a few contenders

Montreal (hard hitting team)
Anaheim (full of talent)
Pittsburgh (young energy will last the full playoff push)
Atlanta (another team full of talent)
Detroit (experienced in playoffs)
San Jose (a sleeper team, but very good)

Buffalo and Nashville will not go to the finals....I'm calling it now

SABRES!!! they've been on top in the standings all season, they have 2 of the best goalies in the league, they've got killer lines on D and up front, and mostly they are hungry for it.

nicely, personaly, i'm partial to the vancouver canucks, yet on account that they do no longer seem to be in the playoffs this 365 days, i'm chearing for the montreal canadians, and that i think of they're relatively stable, yet pitsberg is likewise stable, so my innovations are the two the canadians or the penguins
