nordstroms (mac) sometimes they have specials where they do your eyes for free etc. but they are very reasonable for special occasions. Like $30-$60

There are a few combinations you can look into. Eye liner is usually best if its black or brown. (it depends what eye shadow combos. you doing. Consult your makeup artist) There are a few color combinations that work well with your eyes, hair, dress, and personality. *Different shades of cremes and browns always looks beautiful and gives you a natural glow. (Shimmery or a taint of sparkle looks beautiful for a night out) *The right kind of purple combination works on most any girl. If you havent worn much makeup purple is a great start. *The right pinks and cremes look great and if your makeup artist does it right is also a natural looking alternative. When you decide what lip color to get have it, coordinate with your eye makeup. (Dont go to dark or bright...Lip gloss with color is always beautiful. And a little lip liner helps. Buy your own because your going to need to touch up.) Make sure your blush isnt too bright. Blush can really make or break the look your going too. Dont go too or too dark. (Your makeup artist will help you choose) Foundation in a liquid form is something that will really even out your skin tone and can do wonders for you beauty. A little powder over the top is nice too. They have shimmery stuff they can put on your skin that if done right looks gorgeous when your going all out. The main thing is not to do something too over-powering and to choose the right colors. Good luck! Im sure youll look beautiful!

M.A.C. make-up artists usually do a really great job. You can go to their website and see what looks they can do. Take pictures of the looks you may want so the artist has an idea of what you want. M.A.C. artists are highly trained and know what they are doing. Not all cosmetic lines do a lot of training. If you have the time, do a practice run to make certain you get the look you want for your big night! Sephora does have great make-up artist but they are not really in the business of doing make-up for big events- they do applications to sell their products. You can always phone up a store and chat with them about it. There may be a make-up artist who works there who also does freelance.
Have fun!

You can go to Nordstoms and make an appointment at the MAC Cosmetics counter. The make-up artists really do a great job. It won't cost you anything. You just need to spend about $35 in their products and it's complimentary. But make an appt. asap. They get booked fast, especially during prom time.

Make up counters normally do it for free...try Clinique or MAC. Although for the service it would be nice if u bought something.
My friends daughter went to MAC and they did it for free...all she did was buy a lipstick and eyeshadow which is not bad when u consider that at other places u would of paid that amount just for the makeover and not gotten anything to keep.

Go to the MAC counter - tell them you'd like to get your make-up done - call in for an appt, because they're pretty popular. All you have to do is spend $40 in their products, which is a pretty good steal - get your face done and get the stuff to touch it up. Also, bring a pic of what you are going for to steer them in the right direction.

I don't know the cost, but Sephora does offer it. So do a lot of beauty salons (not the $6.99 ones, the real ones). Call around in your area...if you have an Aveda salon, they definitely have this service.

Look in the yellow pages or google a cosmotologist in your area. I usually go to salons that offer it,or you could try looking to going to a school and have one of the teachers do it,or a graduating student.
