no but they have been lured by the promises to push the social issues, when I see someone driving around in a beat up old car with a Bush sticker, I'm thinking, boy have you been manipulated!

If the issue is one of taxes and representation on tax issues:
Would working class Republicans compare the percentage of their income taxed to the upper class percentage taxed, and wake up? No more than the Democrats.
When it comes to tax burden, the middle working class has always bore the brunt, regardless of what party was at the helm. When will we as a working middle class stop accepting this? Neither the Republican or Democratic leaders are voluntarily going to change the tax laws that affect their income, requiring them to pay the same share as the middle class.
All upper income levels have historically and are currently paying less of a percentage of their income in taxes than the middle class. Why do the upper class complain of welfare benefits to the needy? They pay percentage-wise so little into the system. That's reality.

I think working class Republicans still believe in fairy tales:
1 - Jesus was born of a virgin and rose from the dead;
2 - If you work 24/7 for 40 years at a minimum wage job, you MIGHT become a millionaire - so you should support laws that are good for millionaires, just in case.

Elitist are th democrats my friend. When they give you your handouts who do you think you have to worship? Or they will just stop giving you and your family handouts. And those who oppose the liberals will be thrown into the gulags or starved to death.
Cuba. Your Ellite media types go to Castro as a King.who gives his people happiness. Why does he have the highest percentage
of his population in prison than any other country. Beware of your liberal elite. Or are you blind to them?

Dems are more of elitist than Republicans. John Kerry proves that every time he opens his mouth. Dems tell the minorities that they must vote for them or they will get strung up to set the example.
