My buddy claims she has one, but It says blazer!!! How can i let her know the truth?

Your friend has a Chevy S-10 Blazer Tahoe. Back then Tahoe was the top of the line options package on S-10 trucks and Blazers. It had special badges, sometimes stripes or graphics on the side, power windows and locks, etc. It's something like the LS package on newer Chevy's.

Tahoe is just the line labeled to the vehicle, it is found on blazer and S-10 models.

The 1988 Chevrolet S-10 Blazer came with several trim levels including the Tahoe. Please see the Web link for an example.
