I was robbed two weeks ago at the bus station on my way to work. I had thought to obtain a stun gun for self protection. Why is it that only robbers, thugs and street scum can just have their way with people and victimize them at will and we are denied protection?

I figure the state thrives on victims and victimization. It is like what happened here 3 1/2 years ago. If I had defended my then 6 yr. old son and myself from a fella who wanted to steal my truck, parked in my driveway, at gunpoint. I would have gone to jail myself. I had found out on the news later that he was wanted for shooting a police officer.
btw, 10 minutes before he showed up I had taken the fuel filter out of my truck, to thaw it out. Darn his luck. And sorry to hear about yours.

I'm sorry you were robbed.
Stun guns can be lethal if the user is not trained. Just my opinion, but if choosing between giving up some money and killing somebody, I'd rather give it up.
Add: Re the above post, the Second Amendment does not deal with stun guns.

Stun guns can be lethal. There are many places that have tight restrictions on such weapons because of the misconceptions surrounding them.
Introducing the next level of violence into the situation can only serve to escalate it to a situation where you could possibly be putting yourself in greater danger.

stun guns are illgal as so bear spray but people use the any way, try to find them in sys vs spy or ahunning store.
