I don't really do any real running because I have dropped arches and am prone to injury. However I think if I did loads of hillclimbing on my bike plus regular 80 mile cycles and If I did long walks to a least strengthen the running muscles I could have a chance. My youth would help me and give me an advantage anyway. If I got the diet right too I feel like I could really win. Just running a race wouldn't injure me. What do you guys think?

Train with a professional and get an advised opinion based on your skills and DO the right thing for you.

An athlete is defined as one who participates..
A Winner is defined as one who succeeds.
You can be both in last place of a race!

first of all what do you mean "a race", what race, the olympic 110m hurdles or the egg and spoon?

secondly, why are you so sure you could win races, do you have three legs?

thirdly....actually i'm wrong, go for it. i have changed my mind compltely. in the words of s club 7, reach for the stars. you probably dont need any training, just believe it and it will happen. your obviously a bright guy considering your only 26, so just enter a race and see how you get on. i think you have to win a couple of races before they let you go to the olympics but so what, if you really want it do it!

also, if you like running you may enjoy the power of flight, have ago and let me know if it was fun. seriously though DO NOT try flying, you would die.

all the best linford.

i think of you extra sensible plan on eating crow. A BMX motorbike is designed for short sprints. maximum BMX races are over in a jiffy, at maximum. somewhat, the races are so short you do not even take a seat. With small wheels, small gears, and an lack of ability to take a seat, you would be way outclassed in a highway race. you will possibly desire to beg, borrrow or scouse borrow a highway motorbike before you get slaughtered. desire this facilitates.
