Don't worry; wanting to be the opposite sex is very different than wanting to "be" with the same sex: You just think probably that girls have an easier life, that's my guess.
If that's the case, always keep looking at the bright side of life, the glass if half-full, or maybe just a quarter... but it certainly isn't empty at all and every drop of the drink is worth it, if you understand.
And whatever people think about psychologists, the best thing is to find a good friend and talk about this with that friend. Don't keep it inside you, cuz' that's what even psychologists are for, not to help you solve your problems but to share them with someone and not keep them inside untill they "eat you alive".
But a friend is much better thatn any psychologist!

You're in a situation that is somewhat typical to your age. You've hit puberty, and what you have, can be commonly called a gender identity crisis. People have identity crises all the time, and at any age. Even midlife crisis is an identity crisis.

I'd suggest to go to your local pyschologist, explain your situation. You don't need pills for it, so you don't need to see a psychiatrist.

PS; trust me, you don't want to be a woman. You have no idea what being a woman brings along in terms of responsibility, let alone the gender-discrimination...

When you turn 18, move to a big city. Go to a university, if you can help it, and you'll be well on the way to discovering the answers.
