I have chronic headaches. I usually use Ibuprofen, or naproxen sodium but my stomach is starting to get pretty sensitive. Tylenol doesn't work at all and I'd like to find something natural since I need to take it every day.

All good recommendations but wouldn't you like to know how to prevent them? They are caused by muscles tightening up pushing (because they are tight) on what ever location that is triggering the headache. For a full explanation and much more see The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies.
In the mean time, take a swig of molasses to help the muscles relax (added benefit is the magnesium that your body uses to regulate many things) daily banana(s) after that are an option.
If you have some one who can run their second joint of their index finger up your spine (both sides) massage your shoulders and neck, you can do the rest - if not make use of the corner on any wall to apply pressure where the knots are (you WILL feel them) for a little while or until they loosen up if it is a short time. Reach what you can up through your neck. Anywhere there is (or is supposed to be) hair lightly rub or scratch you will feel (lots) of tender places running your fingers over them a few times every couple of hours until they go away (they might be there long after the headache is gone). This much will help.

eat about 10 dark Bing cherries... there's a compound in them that's a natural pain killer... but the best thing to do is to pay a professional massage therapist to give you at least a 30 minute upper body massage (make sure to tell them that you have a headache and you want them to focus on your upper back, head, neck and shoulders).. most headaches are caused by unconsciously tensing your muscles in these areas (yes you have plenty of muscles on your head)... when these areas are released (a professional Licensed Massage Therapist knows all of the trigger points and muscles that need to be released so just having a friend give you a massage probably won't do the job) your headache disappears... this is better than medication because it actually fixes the problem temporarily... The only way to permanently fix tension headaches is to pay attention to your body and make sure to relax your muscles when your stressed... There is also a trigger point between your pointer finger and thumb deep in the muscle that can be compressed for a bit (you'll need to do it with enough pressure that there's a little discomfort) and it can ease a headache... but from my experience the massage really is the best way

My chronic headaches are caused by arthritis in my neck. I use ice when they turn into a migraine. I have prescription drugs but take them only sparingly. Massage your self with a percussion massager and you will find where the pain is coming from. A massage therapist can do wonders. You might want to see if your headaches are triggered by a food allergy or stress.. I went to a physical therapist and she taught me some exercies that I do that keep my tendons and muscles stretched in my neck. I also use a TENS unit. My daughters are caused by an accident she had 10 years ago. Are you grinding your teeth? You may have TMJ. Maybe your headaches are the result of a sinus infection. Use salt water rinses to clear that up. Salt in clean, germ free water acts as a natural antibiotic. Use a netti cup.

One thing that really helps with my migraines and chronic headaches is I went to my local store and found some nice essential oils ( I like peppermint and eucalyptus) to smell. They can relax your senses and help you with the tension in your head. Another helpful hint is to use acupressure points on the webbing between your thumb and index fingers. Press these spots and your headaches will go away at least a little bit if not totally. The good thing about this is that the acupressure doesn't cost a thing! Don't forget to drink a lot of water, since dehydration can make your headaches worse.

Magnesium supplements are good for chronic headaches.

http://www.headaches.org/consumer/topicsheets/magnesium.html

Also make sure you have regular bowel movements by eating more fiber. Sometimes when your heater is high at night, that was what was giving me headaches,
I took Magnesium only two days and I quit drinking four glasses of milk since too much Calcium can cause Magnesium deficiency.
At night I take a calcium, Magnesium and Zinc supplement that provides 60 percent of these minerals. The one that suits me is from Trader Joe's. This supplement also improves my sleep. Has to be taken at night after you eat a snack. Glucose (Carbohydate building blocks) or amino acid (protein building blocks) are needed for transporting the supplements in the body.

I also have had chronic headaches for years. The only thing that ended up working for me is Progesterone Cream. Many of us have overly high estrogen levels, due to many factors such as hormones found in our foods, plastics, etc. I have tried every remedy under the sun, and this is the only thing that worked for me. You just rub the cream right on your head every 10 minutes until the headache is gone, which for me usually only takes 3 times. Also to prevent this happening at all... use a small amount of the cream twice a day for 2 weeks of every month. This will allow your body to have a normal Progesterone/Estrogen balance, and you will hardly ever get headaches at all. It is truly amazing how well this has worked for me. I use the AIM brand which is a great company.
I have heard of all kinds of remedies, including drinking lots of water, etc, but nothing else ever took care of my headaches so well. I used to take Ibuprofin as well, but eventually it just doesn't work as well, and it stressing out your liver and body. Now that I use the cream, I almost NEVER have to take anything else for headaches, I hardly ever get them at all anymore. :) Feel free to contact me if you need more info.
