I am 16 weeks pregnant and have been under stress lately. I felt some leakage this past Saturday and just now today as well. Not blood, just milky type fluid. I thought I was having contractions on Saturday when I sat down to rest. Is this possible? Could there be a problem? Or am I just paranoid? I am 30 years old and this is my 3rd pregnancy.

Amniotic fluid is clear yellowish fluid and white milkish fluid could be leukorreah (hope I spelled it right) which is just increased vaginal discharge during pregnancy which is not a problem. But don't try to guess - visit with your doctor as soon as you can just to be on sure side.

You could just be cramping, your uterus is growing. The "milky" fluid sounds like discharge....your discharge is heavier during pregnancy, than normal. I leaked amniotic fluid at twenty weeks and it was clear, watery fluid. They put me on bed rest until my next appointment with my obstetrician, and told me I had a small tear, that would heal on its own, as long as I stayed off of my feet. If you are concerned at all though, don't hesitate to call the Dr., that's what they are there for. My daughter still came 5 weeks and 1 day early. She was a very healthy preemie, she was released just like a normal new born.....Good Luck to you!

If I were you I would call or get checked out. Milky fluid I'm not a doctor but it's the usual discharge you get when your pregnant and your body is going through all those changes even down there. Better safe than sorry just make the call.

As you must know by now, each pregnancy is different even for the same woman. The discharge may be normal, usually there is a heavier than normal discharge during pregnancy.

The contration can just be your body adjusting to the baby.

No need to worry unless you have a history (family or personal) of problematic pregnancies or have miscarried before.

i began experiencing that in the previous 16 weeks and at 24 nevertheless get it now and back. it could be out of your uterus transforming into, or out of your abdomen transforming into, and stretching. if the cramping isn't intense, then i'd not difficulty. if it starts to, call your accepted practitioner. be constructive you element out this at your next prenatal apointment. your accepted practitioner should be advised about all of those activities so he can music it for you. do not rigidity even with the actuality that, it truly is common :) good success

Call your doc immediately and tell him what is going on. He can do an ultrasound to see if amniotic fluid is low. Also he can see if you are indeed having contractions. Get calling now!!!!!

The best thing to do would be to call your OB and let him/her know what is going on.
