I believe that a friend of mine, whom I briefly allowed to use my computer, has either installed tracking software on it or has given himself remote access to it. He may have even transferred personal files of mine to himself. I walked in on him, and saw some sort of activity to this nature, but he closed out so quickly, I could not tell. I am not too saavy to computers, and would like to know if there is a service provider that would be able to scan my computer for tracking software. Most importantly, if any file transfers had taken place. I would really appreciate any input or advice.

Thank you.

If this is a true story, then call services like "geek squak" or "computer medics". No only can they check your PC, but can set you up with security programs to prevent this from happening again. Say hi to bubba, will 'ya.

What type of a friend would do that? And if he is your friend, why not ask him what he has done to your computer?
