To all you anti war Commi's.....it's because we didn't finish the job the first time we were over there.Oil is a small part on why we are in Iraq, there is still the threat of terrorism and with Iran wanting to get nuclear capabilities, that is something we don't need. And it is hard to hand it over to the Iraqi's when they are scared to do it themselves,if we leave now, there will be such a genocide that will make the holocaust look like drop in the bucket.
They have already uncoved plots that they were planning to get terrorist over to the U.S.....they was going to get student visas and get terrorists over here a few at a time.I could go on and on,i do alot of research on this,i want to be informed on whats going on.

I think you people should do the same,do your research before you ask these ignorant questions.

And don't always listen to the media, they only tell you everything about the war.Like the good our troops are doing. The media thrives on chaos.

The "insurgency" consists mostly of Saddam's old comrades trying to get back into power. If they do, Iraq will go back to supporting and financing terrorism in other countries, like Saddam used to.
Then again, if the Shiite extremists, backed by Iran's Ahmadinejad, gain power, they would be supporting foreign terrorists too. For the sake of the US as well as the Iraqi people, the situation needs to be stabilized.
I don't know if you've noticed, but the terrorists have not succeeded in attacking the US again, though some have tried.

i dont think Sadaam really had anything to do with why we are in Iraq. Since we were there we just figured we take him out because he was causing too many problems there. But i believe we are there to make sure we dont give them the time and space to prepare for another 9/11. If we werent there how would we know what they were up to?

There is still oil there,so it's not time yet to leave...When the oil is over, then US can hand Iraq back to the Iraqis...

Keep your mind off of pursuing Bin Ladin in Pakistan.
At first I was for Bush in his war on terror. There was no place Bin Ladin could hide from him. Now he plays this political game in Iraq because he is too spineless to go into Pakistan the true terrorist haven and the sad part is everybody is buying it. I've lost all respect and trust for the man.A true politition. He doesn't answer questions he avoids them.
