on line only - easy
on line going into a face to face - easy
face to face - easy
They are all easy Just go with the flow and don't have really unreasonably high expectations

Online is easier, you have time to think before you type.
Real life relationships involve a lot of trial and error.

Good question, but I think on-line can be misleading only because you never who who is telling the truth. Face to face you can usually tell if someone is lying by the way they fidget or blink...etc.
