My work has almost every website blocked on there server except like yahoo and msn and sites like that. I heard there is a program you can download that keeps on IE page open but you can open other web page windows within that page, which makes it look like you are only viewing that allowed site?? any help?

Isn't your job and earning money more important to you? These proxies will still be recorded on your work's server and they will know what you've been up to. It really isn't worth trying to deceive your employers, as you will lose out in the end.

There are proxy servers that just reroute your connection through their 'legit' computer that isn't blocked.

Try Circumventor. Set one up at home and you should be good to go. Keep in mind that a saavy tech group will probably monitor for such tactics, so you may need to switch up tactics every 6-12 months, depending on how lazy they are.

What irks me is the blocking software rejects certain sites based on material but allows others. In a way it is their way of controlling free speech in the workplace.
