I don't know how big the jars are or their shape. But you can try some of these ideas.

You can make it into a lamp, either with a light fixture on the top or a string of Christmas lights inside. You can add decorative items to dress them up.

You can decoupage them. Any kind of artwork can be glued on and then varnished with Elmers or other PVC glue.

Finally you can fill them with seashells or colored glass beads and insert either live or artificial plants.

Use glue and fabric to make cute pencil/pen holders. Add ingredients to make homemade cookies and add a cute label with directions and give as a gift to someone. (If you have the lids.) You can paint on the glass with paint and use it to hold hair accessories. You can add colored sand, river rocks, then a candle to display in your bathroom, kitchen, or living room. That's all I can think of off the top of my head...but good luck!! =)

fill it with bird seed and make a list of small household items(only one of each), and add these to the jars. shake it up and then search for the items, it is an extremely fun game. and since you hve to, you could have a race.

I tried painting on mine, but my brush was too thick.
Put on grout and push in pieces of broken jewelry, beads, mirrors, etc.
Or decoupage on some scenes, birds, etc. Add a candle to each. You have a gift.
