Jo Blo it's not stealing it's part of the social contract of being American. What the hell is so wrong with your world that you begrudge help for the sick, the elderly, and children, or is that how Jesus told you to be?

At least the wealthy Americans won't have to sacrifice for Bush's war. Bush has a new economy theory, the trickle up theory. It's a take from the poor and give to the rich policy.

I find it an abomination that the people who have aged out of the work force, or those who are too young to participate are being punished.

Taking away from programs designed to educate ad maintain heath of children is going to have negative soc ail ramifications, in a few years, Under nourished and under educated children are more likely to be dependent upon social funding. Taking directly away from children is going to cost you in the long run.

Bush is very short sighted, he propose for one an unbalanced budget that is stripping essential programs away from those who need it and have no other options.

Bull$hit. You have subscribed to the Democrat mantra by calling them "cuts." There are no cuts. They are actually increases, just not as much as the tax-and-spend Democrats would have promised (and probably not have delivered).

Ask any senior if their social security has been cut.

And try backing up your information from an actual credible source--not the Al Gore Playbook.

Bush abandoned the compassionate conservatism agenda.

There is NOTHING compassionate about government's confiscation of individual private property via taxation in order to redistribute it to someone else.

If you or I stole money from our neighbors in order to give it to our favorite charity, we would be charged with theft and thrown in jail.

Why is government theft any different? Why is it lauded and championed when private citizens get jail time for doing the same exact thing?

If you believe in compassion, give of your own time and money. Stealing money and time from someone else is coercion, not compassion.

That is exactly how compassionate conservatism works.
