does the make up really cover up anything?

This make up does wonders for the skin. I love the feeling of the mineral veil against my skin. It's never heavy or irritating. I have had problems with breakouts for years. I'm 31. I have tried every foundation that I could find. The combination of proactiv and bare minerals has completely cleared my skin. The coverage for bare minerals is great but it will not hide really bad skin. It's light. It's not a putty. It doesn't feel like your wearing make up. Do not use washcloths on your face more than once. I haven't reordered the proactive because my friend told be about goat's milk soap for sensitive skin prone to breakouts. It works very well. The proactive was the best for clearing up the acne. Now I just use the fresh washcloths and goats milk soap (inexpensive) morning and night with bare minerals to even out my skin tone to maintain. The bare minerals does tend to settle into fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes so make sure you use a good moisturizer. I like the proactiv's moisturizer you don't need to use a lot it's lasts for a long time. I still have it after 1 year. The skin rever-upper by bare minerals helps to smooth bumpy skin. I have to remind myself to keep my hands off of my face because it feels so good. Oils and hairspray wreak havoc on your skin. They clog your pores.

Hope this helps.
Good Luck

I have been using Bare Escentuals for about two years. I think it works well. If you have severe skin problems, it will not cover everything, but nothing will. It does cover redness/freckles/blemishes and undereye circles very well, especially if you use the maximum coverage concealer brush. I am pretty pale, and I love the Warmth and Mineral Veil to give my face more color. Warning, it will take a few times for you to really get the hang of the makeup. I used WAY too much color when I first started. Also, the brushes are amazing.

Leslie, the CEO, is going to be on QVC this Saturday, and they have good kits and deals there. Check out bareescentuals.com for more info and showtimes. I would only buy BE products from Sephora or QVC becuase you'll get a much better deal.

My mom, sister, and grandmother all bought it and like it. It looks nice on them

However, if you need heavier coverage, like I do, it might not be the best thing as it seems to take A LOT to cover up what you need to cover up.

I do however, like the nighttime stuff you put on your face. The old dirt thing or whatever. I bought it, and it makes my skin look great in the morning. It gets rid of the redness and help clear up any blemishes.

I use it and really like it, but it doesn't cover like it shows on T.V. It does help with redness, but if I have inflamed acne, you can still see it. It is not irritating or clogging at all, and gives the skin a little sheen. Wasn't too impressed with the bronzer, but I am extremely pale. Overall, worth the money.

I have used it and like the make-up.I am older so my skin has age problems.
I have rec'd compliments. The coverage is good but gets better as you use it.
The more you use it the better it gets, it's as if your skin becomes conditioned. The brushes need time to be seasoned by use..
I have slept with it on and no prolems. I will buy it again.

Yes, it works very well ;I dont use it personally but my mom uses it and she had very bad skin as a teen. It covers up alot...you wouldnt think that it would cover up much or that it would stay on very long but I tried it one day and I think it is a very good product.

relatively no longer, it relatively is a waste of money, and is not any longer in all probability mineral makeup. -It incorporates bismuth that's a sort of arsenic and a epidermis irritant that clogs pores and motives itching -simply by bismuth bare Minerals/bare Escentuals clogs pores, might reason facial rashes, and makes epidermis itchy -it relatively is cakey -you may no longer sleep in it like they promote (so do no longer attempt it)
