Typically in a gas stream oxygen is taken out with a cold trap that is cooled below the boiling point of O2. You have to watch that though, once you’ve got liquid oxygen (LOX), you’ve got rocket fuel in your hands. Explosive combustion is a real possibility.

Food packets don’t typically absorb oxygen, those packets are absorbing moisture(desicants). To get the oxygen out of there they typically displace it by filling the package with CO2. (Those bags of lettuce in the grocery store? Filled with CO2). Most folks use a gas tight packaging like metalized mylar. Myself I prefer argon as displacement gas it has the highest density and it is hardest to mess up. You can actually fill a bowl with argon and it will sit there for several hours, days if you put a cover on it. Nitrogen is also used, it is the cheapest and safest, but it is also the hardest to process.

There are solids that absorb O2, they are called molecular sieves. However for oxygen their use is very limited. Basically small nooks in these zeolites catch the O2. The problem is that other gases (like CO) and water will also stick in these small features, so the sieve gets “poisoned “ relatively quickly and then you need to recharge them.

Yeah don't worry about it. Smoke weed, drink a beer or two, but don't **** with that kinda ****. I did duster or better known as keyboard cleaner whenever i was a kid, you'd get this whawhawhawhawha sound in your head, pretty cool but i'm now 19 and boyyy was that a bad idea. I have many issues such as twitches, headaches, stunted growth, and i have no medical proof but i'm pretty sure my internal organs have mild damage and maybe a few holes in my brain. LONG STORY SHORT, I REGRET IT. Smoke pot kid, you WON'T regret it and it frees your mind. Throw all that media propaganda in the trash!!
