Its not 14 days after your last period, it's 14 days before your next one, which is why you have no discharge,
Remember sperm can live for 5 days too so stop worrying and relax

You might not be ovulating today, keep checking every day and eventually you should notice a change. Not everyone ovulates exactly 14 days from their period. You actually ovulate 12-16 days before your next period. It also helps to check your cervix if it is low enough to reach and hard like your nose then you aren't ovulating, when it gets higher up and harder to reach and is soft like your lips then you are ovulating.

Ovulation occurs on day 14 if you have a 28 day cycle. If your cycle is 30 days or so you wouldn't ovulate for another 2 days. Sperm can live in a woman for up to 5 days though so screw all that mucus check and stuff and just get busy!

BTW, the mucus will be obvious when you wake up and see it in your panties. There's no need to continuously check.

If you're TTC your best bet would be to record your periods, CD1 (cycle date 1) is the day you start bleeding, record your periods on a calendar and count the days in between. If you don't FEEL like your ovulating on day 14 chances are you have either a shorter or longer cycle then 28 days. I use http://www.mymonthlycycle.com and have it do the counting for me. It avarages my cycle length based on the dates I put in.

I had to look at your other questions because I hadn't remembered seeing the others, hadn't been here for about a week. It is obvious you are trying desperately to conceive.
Try taking your temp every morning before your feet hit the floor. A slight rise, usually indicates ovulation. If this doesn't work for you, try having sex every night for a month or so.
It worked for me with my second child!
Good Luck!

I would go and get an ovulation test kit...it will tell you if you are about to ovulate or not....then you would know for sure...Good Luck!

Every person is different, but it will not hurt for you to check the discharge.
