Think of how beautiful America would be with no industry. No dirt old pickup trucks on the road with employees commuting to work.

Only clean well appointed Luxury vehicles on the roads.

Manufacuring requires lots of manpower. If all manufacturing went away there would be huge unemplyment. I don't understand how you make the leap from getting rid of industry to everyone driving luxury vehicles. There aren't enough high tech and service jobs to offset the loss of decent paying jobs that manufacturing and industry provide.

Also for you raise the minimum wage types out there, Chinese workers get paid little money and still work in appaling conditions. Is that how we help lead the way to a better world for all? By sending the jobs to countries who have a dismal record of human right?

Oh, what a good idea. I always knew dependence on foreign oil wasn't nearly enough for us.

I don't think so.....I work in manufacturing.....Everything we sell is built right here in the USA. I talk with customers everyday, and a majority of them will not buy any machine that is not made here in the US. I am proud of that fact. And please don't bash my Good old Ford truck.....
