Like those heart, star, and musical note symbols? I've tried, but while pressing alt+1= a smiley face for some, for me it =¡
My symbols are different. Anyone with a Macbook have any ideas? Here are some of the symbols I CAN get:

You don't press alt.
You press the apple key and then a letter
i.e Apple Key and M
It's completely different to Windows because it's a Mac, it has to be difficult.

You switch to a Windows OS.
