How to make an electronic file in Microsoft Word?

I was asked to make an electronic file but Im not sure what that is or to make it. Please help!

Any file on a computer is an electronic file as opposed to a physical paper file. Try downloading www.openoffice.org to create files compatible with Microsoft Word.

The file you create and save as a "Word" document IS an electronic file.

When you create an microsoft word document you are creating an electronic document. Electtronic docs can be shared via email the web etc....
