I live in Bay Area and can't decide where to go Post Valentine weekeend with overnight stay . weather in lake Tahoe -showering I've Been in Calistoga, Hearst Castle, Sacramento... Any new suggestions?

mendocino coast is gorgeous (but we're getting rain, it's heavier up there). monterrey is nice, as is carmel.
it really depends on what your interests are... there is an old growth redwood forest in guernville (armstrong grove) that ansel adams did some photo work at.
there is always the diversity of marin, just over the bridge

Calistoga is over-rated. Come to Napa or Yountville.
