I know this seems silly but, it worked when my music teacher told us to do it. Sit/Stand straight; keep your ribcage lifted; sing from your diaphragm; I can't think of anything else off the top of my head. To make sure you get your breathing right, start off with vocal exercises. Start on C(1 in the key of C) and gradually increase your pitch by one half step until you get there and keep practicing. It won't be easy, but it's worth it I promise you. Are you in high school/college? If you are, there should be music programs there for you. I hope I helped you.

My husband has a masters degree in vocal performance, and he explained to me the best way. Don't sing through your nose, you know when you yawn? How the roof of your mouth in the back, the soft area, lifts? Try to lift that by extending yourself a little straighter and open up your throat while you sing. That gives a clearer tone, and by using your stomach muscles to push out air while you sing gives you more power. The muscles you use when you go "HUH!" real quick, those are what you use to expel air when you sing. Don't slouch, and find your center while you stand. Don't be afraid to be loud when neccessary, but once you learn control, learn to have that control and sing softly. Practise makes perfect!

regardless of you do DON"T tighten your throat!!!! I say sorry to the guy who reported this as a fashion for hitting larger notes, yet this is a undeniable thank you to break your making a music voice. Tightness in the throat whilst making a music will create polyps on your vocal chords, which require surgical treatment, and a lot of folk won't be able to sing lower back afterwards. the superb thank you to enhance your variety is to stretch the lower back of the throat up, such as you're yawning. continually artwork as much as the severe notes for the duration of your heat ups, by no potential initiate on them. attempt making a music "sirens". you initiate on the very lowest notice you may sing, and then steadily artwork your way as much as the optimal notice you may hit, then bypass into opposite, like the siren on an ambulance. shop doing that, and each time attempt to bypass slightly larger. this might strengthen all the notes on your voice, as nicely as enhance your variety. in case you experience any rigidity in any respect on your throat or jaw whilst making a music, deflect it via squeezing your butt cheeks. continually shop your mouth open superb and extensive, incredibly whilst making a music severe notes. yet you relatively could get voice training, sweetie. communicate on your music instructor in college, they might have some materials attainable. The human voice is an particularly gentle device that would not shelter abuse nicely. be careful, if something hurts provide up. stable success!!!

My husband was a singer in a band, and I went to the bookstore and bought him a book that teaches him everything about how to sing.

in my case, i stand up on my 2 feet, take a deep breath.
push my diaphragm, raise my eyebrow.
open my mouth widely, raise my voice.
don't do screaming (definitely will damage your voice!).
start with raising your voice slowly but powerful...

hope my way can help you.
