I don't think your vote 'counts' at all. What does it count for? When has your vote ever decided anything?
Voting simply legitimizes the bad behavior of the politicians. By voting, your are simply giving up sovereignty over your own life to a bunch of elected Mafiaesque hooligans.
This quagmire is no different than other quagmires in the past. Democrats are no different. Remember that the Vietnam and Korean wars was largely administered under Democrat presidents.
Keep in mind that, by default, the majority of Americans (and, thus, the majority of voters) are of average or below average intelligence. Are these the people that you want running your life?

Yes, if things go on as they have with respect to the Iraq War, I think we might have a large turnout in 2008. I mean, look at how people flocked to the polls in this past election, and I think the war fueled a lot of that. I think the turnout will be largely determined by how the Iraq War goes from now until then.

You just don't get it do you? If we pull out of Iraq, Iran is going to come in and take over and then they will have enough strength to take over the whole middle east including Israel. China will side in and Iran at this moment is creating a coalition with South America thus this terrorist ridden country will become the power of the world and you won't have ANY freedoms to say yes or no about anything. When will you people wake up?

To answer your question just look at the debate on here. Don't think there will be a lot of people sitting this election out.

Unfortunately too many will be caught in the quagmire and will be unable to move.
I expect the turn out will be the lowest in history.
