any body know to stop windows messinger from popping up, every time i get on the computer???

Rename the Windows Messenger folder under C:\Program Files.

Indeed:
â Open Msn
â Click Tools at the top
â Select Options
â Click the General Tab
â Remove the first tick in the box saying start Msn on Windows Start up

You can right mouse click the application and close it....
Remove it from Start-up within the options of the program. Remove it from the Start-up folder if its in there...
Or just plain old Remove It completely

I read the question wrong thought he meant "messenger service" thanks for the negs though
