I have looked on a few sites for the code but am unable to find my make and model. can anyone please help me??

I have looked through the instructions booklet and this says the player is region 2

It is worth noting that many cheap DVD players are 'region locked', and cannot be made region free by any method.
This is one of the reasons why they are cheap.
