ya wanna do it yourself?? thats a girl,, good. Ok you will need to take the hold down off that is the cross over bar that is bolted on both sides of the battery ,not to the battery just a bar that goes across it on the width side. unlossen that usually a 10 mm wrench unloosen it it may want to slip off it is held at the bottom by a hook look at it and then un hook it on both sides. look at the size of bolt that is holding your battery cables on get a box end wrench, oh before you do that clean it off good any crud from battery corrosion?? baking soda works like a champ then rinse. unloosen the neg. cable first take it off and push it down between something to secure it then the pos. cable same deal now,, back straight knees bent a little and lift it out and put it down. where you buy your battery you will find a battery brush it is a brush that you can clean the inside of the cable terminals with well the connectors that you unbolted. clean it good put a swipe of vaseling inside the connectors or diaelectric grease vasealine works good. make sure you are putting th new one in the same way as regards to the battery post red to pos cable and black to neg put it in take your hold down and hook them and put the cross bar across the batery and bolt it down. Check for corrosion on further up the cables if you have some more baking soda then get some battery spray protectent put your neg on first and then the pos cable tighten them and spray the top of the terminal and Wa La you have just completed the R and R of your battery now go reset your clock .

Installing a new battery is easy. But installing a new woman in your car???????? Your better off just going to Walmart. They will install the battery free if you buy it there. If it is cold where you are. Get a battery with the highest Cold Cranking Amp rating thats made for your car.

Make sure your cables go to the right terminals. Don't want to reverse polarity very bad will burn out the alt. The + gets the red cable and is hooked up to the starter. The - gets the black cable and is grounded to the car.
