When it is something serious it is difficult to me to excuse, but to you, if you were behaving yourself badly he would excuse all your pranks to you.

I hold grudges...................even after i have forgiven the person on the surface, i still feel resentment within.
I cannot help it but at least i am honest and to be fair if people want forgiveness they shouldn't commit the act in the first place.
Like anyone will readily forgive thier best friend for sleeping with thier partner???
You may on the surface but you will never trust them again.

I used to hold grudges and to a certain extent I still do. But for the most part I just try to swiftly vanquish and or beat the hell out of my enemies. I always forgive because people do what is in their nature to do but I also dig revenge and I like making example of people, nothing personal though.

I'm one to hold a grudge on people because they shouldn't have done anything bad but if it was a heat of the moment thing I'd forgive and forget

I forgive easily...too easily some people have told me. I often get taken for a being sucker...but I sleep better. I've probably been forgiven more than I've done the forgiving...so I can't complain.
I have a couple of grudges that I still hold though...I try to let them go...but I seem to be unable to shake them.

I don't hold grudges and i sometimes forgive. I'd say im more of a person who moves on from the incident and either excepts the person afterwards or not.

Its probably better for yourself to forgive Unless you have been very wronged.. holding a grudge is very bad for you, it drags you down.
I remember someone saying to me that 'holding a grudge or hating someone is like drinking poison and waiting for the other person to die'
A simple analogy but it makes sense..life is short and you only get one go at it

I forgive, but don't often forget. However, I determined long ago not to be like my Mum who is the world's worst/best grudge holder - her grudges go on for years! Too much wasted energy for me, I'm afraid.

I forget, forgive easily and I hold grudges to gain extra knowledge to protect myself from being harm again and again but I will never follow their footsteps.

It's liberating to forgive. Holding grudges makes you a slave to them. There is always a time to move on.
