YES!!
hate is a strong word...it's when you REALLY dislike someone or something, and not just dislike it.
Disliking, jealousy (in a moderate level) can be good because they induce healthy competiton and the need to do something better, therefore raising the bar higher.
Hate, however is all negative vibes, nothing can come out of it except some foolish step undertaken to thwart the thing/individual.
Hence, even though we need a bit of dislike, jealousy, we do not have any requirement for hate..and can definitely survive without it!

Yes, society can most certainly survive without hate. Hate really should be called and classified as what it truly is. The one thing our Allahs and Gods cannot do a thing about. Free Will. Our Creators (I say that so as not to offend anybody) gave us humans one thing they could not change. Free will. Hate falls under that category to me.
I hate nobody. It really is a useless word but it does serve a purpose. It is a word that is needed to describe those who refuse to be polite and walk the other way. Know what I mean?
